What We Believe

Home / About / What We Believe

  • Holy Scriptures - We believe that the old and new testament are the infallible inspired word of  God which is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.

  • One True God - We believe in the 3 eternal persons of the Godhead and that these three are one (The Father, the Son & the Holy Ghost).

  • The Father - We believe that God is our Father, the source of all life and that He created Heaven and Earth; That He loves us and wants a personal relationship with us by coming to Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

  • The Son - We believe Jesus Christ is the Word of God and the only begotten Son of the Father. He is both God and man and is the only way to the Father in Heaven. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died and rose again the third day and has ascended to the right hand of the Father as Lord and Saviour.

  • The Holy Ghost - We believe the Holy Ghost is the third person of the Godhead, sent from the Father and the Son to testify of Jesus, to convict the world of sin and for the work of regeneration.

  • Mankind - We believe God made human beings in His own image, but that man fell into sin and as a result every person falls short from God's glory and is separated from God because of sin.

  • Salvation - We believe God has made a way for everyone to be saved (made whole) through the perfect sacrifice of His Son. We are saved by grace through faith and not by works. It is a free gift received by repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Holy Ghost Baptism – We believe there is a distinct experience when Jesus baptises the believer with the Holy Ghost, and that this can also be imparted through the laying on of hands. When the Holy Ghost falls upon a believer they receive power to become a witness.

  • Water Baptism - We believe water baptism (full immersion) is for believers as an act of obedience and public confession of one’s new life in Christ. It is an outward demonstration, showing that a person has been baptised into Christ and His death, and therefore, will be raised with Him in resurrection.

  • The Church - We believe Jesus is the head of the Church (the body of Christ) which is made up of believers of every nation and made one by the Spirit. We believe the Church is called to be salt and light, and to teach all nations to obey the King.

  • Fivefold Ministry - We believe that God has given His apostles, prophets, evangelists and pastor-teachers to His church in order to mature the saints and that all these offices still exist today. We believe all 4 offices are called to equip (teach) the Body of Christ through the power of the Holy Ghost and that how/who they equip differs according to their office and calling.

  • Sonship - We believe Sonship is a process of spiritual maturity; it speaks of one's relationship with God the Father. We believe that every true believer is a child of God, but that we must go through a process of learning obedience through suffering in order for the Lord to make us into mature sons. The term 'son' is not gender-specific but speaks of a mature believer who lives solely to do the Father's will.

  • End Times - We believe that we are living in the last era before the return of Christ. We believe that during this hour God is raising up His army, manifesting His sons and calling the bride to prepare herself for the return of the bridegroom.

  • The Bride – We believe Jesus is coming back for His bride (those who have made themselves ready) when we least expect it. Those who have watched with wisdom will go to the marriage supper of the Lamb and be with the Lord forever.

  • The Judgement - We believe that Jesus will return in power and righteousness to rule and judge the earth, putting all enemies under His feet.

  • Resurrection - We believe in the resurrection of the dead; that the believer will rise to eternal life, and the unbeliever to eternal judgement and damnation.
